I've spent the last two days praying over this verse. I can't get it out of my mind!
But the wisdom that comes from Heaven is first of all pure, then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy & good fruit, impartial & sincere. --James 3:17
I love the book of James. Once when my car stalled in the middle of NO WHERE, I memorized James 1:2-3. My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.
I can see how this study of James is affecting your heart! Keep the insights coming...I am so encouraged by them....
ReplyDeleteIt does pack a punch because it reveals exactly which ways I am not holding the wisdom of heaven in my heart!
ReplyDeleteJames is one of my all-time favorite chapters because it is so practical, SO applicable, and is so to the point/direct...
I hope your study and focused prayer blesses you big time!!
What a great verse to meditate on!

It's funny how you can read this verse time and again and each time a different word is in bold again the background of daily living.
