It's been a while since I participated in the What's On Your Nightstand carnival at 5 Minutes for Books. My list this month is long, and I'll just tell you right now that there's no way I'm getting all of these read any time soon (thank goodness I can renew my library books online!). Still, here they are:
~I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings
~Unaccustomed Earth
~Teaching Your Children Healthy Sexuality: A Biblical Approach to Preparing Them for Life (Pure Foundations)
~Change Your Habits, Change Your Life: A Proven Plan for Healthy Living
~The Face
~Born Country: How Faith, Family, and Music Brought Me Home
~Anne of Avonlea
When am I going to find time to read all of these? I honestly have no idea. But it's going to be fun trying!

Big list but a good one. Lots of variety. You'll find the time - we also have time for the things we really want to do.
Oh good, you're here playing today! And YAY for not returning the Anne books. You can still blog about why you WANT to read them (or what you've gathered from the movies about them) if you'd like. Feel free!
I like your list of books.
Great list! I love Angela Hunt too. :)
I'm reading John Piper's "Spectactular Sins", and Jennifer Rothchild's "Fingerprints of God." Not a long list at all!
I've got The Face on some stack somehwere. Since it is not a library book with a time limit, it gets left to be read later.
I haven't read any of those, but I've heard alot about angela hunt. Will have to put her on my wishlist.
I read Anne for the first time -- loved her!! Amanda did too.
Also, I was just offered this anthology of first period stories, so I accepted it -- LOL.
Good list! I love the Anne books!
Looks like a great list. I am going to look into the Teaching Your Children Healthy Sexuality for my 10 year old SIL.. her parents need a good book like this to help guide her.
Looks like a great list. We have four kids (ages 8, 10, 12, and 15) so, I'm really interested in checking out the 'Teaching Your Children Healthy Sexuality' book. Thanks for stopping by my blog.
