Other students witnessed this tragedy. I'm grateful CJ did not, but she's heard other children give details. She saw teachers on the floor sobbing. Images that won't be quickly forgotten.
If you will, please pray for the family, the students & the faculty. This is going to be a long road, and we need Jesus to carry us through.
The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me,
because the LORD has anointed me
to preach good news to the poor.
He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
to proclaim freedom for the captives
and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the LORD's favor
and the day of vengeance of our God,
to comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve in Zion—
to bestow on them a crown of beauty
instead of ashes,
the oil of gladness
instead of mourning,
and a garment of praise
instead of a spirit of despair.
They will be called oaks of righteousness,
a planting of the LORD
for the display of his splendor.
~Isaiah 61:1-3 (NIV)

Oh my... praying, asking God to help, asking Him to be so Ever-Present with those involved.
Oh, my heart aches for this poor baby and his mama and family. I pray that God would provide comfort to CJ and you all as you grieve.
Oh how my heart is breaking for you all! Praying for the family, as well as your whole community as you deal with the aftermath of this accident. May He be as close as the air you breathe and wrap You in His arms of love.

I'll definitely be praying for your community. We had a similar incident happen a few years back...the Mom was in our MOPS group. She has a powerful testimony now, but my heart still aches for her often.
How awful. I will pray. May the Lord have mercy...
Oh...how horribly tragic. Lord comfort those who are mourning and dealing with this shock of a lost child to this earth. Though this child is in your hands, it is those left behind that need your healing touch.
